A lock that sticks, a key that only turns on the third try or a latch that won't catch are all signs a lock needs attention before it fails completely. Most of the time we can repair it on the spot. Often the real culprit is a door that has dropped, so we check the strike plate and alignment too.
Rekeying means we take the cylinder apart and change the pins inside to suit a new key. Your hardware stays, the old keys stop working, and you get a fresh set. If you'd rather upgrade, we can recommend locksets tested to the Australian Standard for locks, AS 4145.

Often, yes. Many sticking locks just need cleaning, lubrication, a new part or a door alignment fix.
