What are your opening hours?
We're open 10am to 1am, seven days a week, including weekends.
Where are you based?
Our head office is at 182-186 Blues Point Rd, McMahons Point NSW 2060. We're a mobile service, so we come to you anywhere across North Sydney and the lower North Shore.
How much does a locksmith cost?
It depends on the job, the time and the hardware needed. Tell us what's happening when you call and we'll give you a quote before any work starts.
Do you do emergency lockouts?
Yes. Home, apartment, office and car lockouts during our opening hours, 10am to 1am every day.
Will you check that I own the property?
Yes. We check ID or proof of address on every lockout. It's part of doing the job responsibly.
What's the difference between rekeying and changing locks?
Rekeying changes the inside of your existing lock so old keys stop working. Changing a lock replaces the whole unit. Rekeying is usually quicker and cheaper if your lock is in good condition.
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes. We do master key systems, restricted keys, office and shop lock changes, and strata common-area locks.
Which suburbs do you cover?
North Sydney, McMahons Point, Lavender Bay, Milsons Point, Kirribilli, Waverton, Wollstonecraft, Crows Nest, St Leonards, Cammeray, Neutral Bay, Cremorne, Mosman and nearby suburbs.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends on where you are and how busy we are at that moment. We're based in McMahons Point, so North Sydney, Lavender Bay, Milsons Point, Waverton and Kirribilli are close by. We give you an honest arrival time on the phone before you book.
Should I rekey or replace my locks?
If your locks work well and you just want old keys to stop working, rekey them. If they're worn, low-security or you want a different style, replace them. We'll tell you which makes sense when we see the lock.
What is a master key system?
It's a set of locks and keys planned together. Each key opens a defined group of doors: a cleaner's key might open common areas only, while the manager's master key opens every door.
Can you replace a lost car key?
For many makes and models, yes. Call with the make, model and year and we'll confirm before coming out.
How long does rekeying take?
Usually just a few minutes per lock once we're on site.
Will a smart lock fit my door?
Most doors can take one, but the right model depends on your door and existing lock. We check before you buy.
Can you open any safe?
We open most home and small business safes. High-security safes are assessed case by case. Tell us the brand and model when you call.
