We always try non-destructive entry first: picking the lock, bypassing a latch or using specialist opening tools. In most cases you get back in without a broken door frame or a new lock to pay for. If a lock does have to be drilled, we tell you before we start and can fit a replacement on the spot.
We're open seven days a week, from 10am until 1am. That covers the after-work lockout, the late dinner in Crows Nest that ends with no keys, and the Sunday afternoon when the strata manager isn't answering.

Before we arrive
Have some ID ready. A good locksmith checks that you live or work at the property before opening it, and we do that on every job. Photo ID with the address, a lease, a utility bill or a quick word from the building manager is usually enough.

How quickly can you get to me?
It depends on where you are and how busy we are at that moment. We're based in McMahons Point, so North Sydney, Lavender Bay, Milsons Point, Waverton and Kirribilli are close by. We give you an honest arrival time on the phone before you book.
Will you damage my door or lock?
We start with non-destructive methods and most lockouts are solved that way. If the only option is to drill a lock, we explain why and quote the replacement before we touch it.
Are you open 24 hours?
No. We're open 10am to 1am, seven days a week, including weekends. Calls outside those hours can't be attended, so save our number for next time.
Do I need to prove I live there?
Yes. We check ID or proof of address before opening any home, business or car. It protects you as much as anyone.
